Take a deep breath...
I was born in Connecticut, lived there till I was nine, moved to New Jersey and lived there for a lot longer. Studied at Yeshivat Har Etzion in Israel for two years after high school. Then went to Yeshiva University for college; majored in physics, minored in mathematics. Got married to Stacy Heidecker. Even managed to graduate magna cum laude. I then went to do my Ph.D. research in physics at The Graduate Center of The City University of New York in the research group of David Crouse at The City College of CUNY (CCNY). During my studies I also taught physics at Yeshiva University and CCNY.
Along
the way, I became a father.
Twice.
I recently completed my Ph.D. work, defending my thesis entitled "Aperture Array Photonic Metamaterials: Theoretical approaches, numerical techniques and a novel application". And there was much rejoicing.
I now work as a computational electromagnetics scientist as a member of the research staff at Riverside Research.Whew!
